The final piece was a silent, 15 minutes long film designed to be viewed in the context of the cafe/bar over a period of time, but I made an edit down with sound for the online folk! The theme of the book was beauty through industry and construction, using patterns of bolts, screws and ratchets to make up the illustrative elements of the book. We created our own bizarre machine that produced crazy customized shoes that came alive. The soundtrack was provided by the CSS Remix of Chromeo's Fancy Footwork and was the official viral film for that track. We smashed our target by hitting over 250,000 views in under a month while it was online. The film was also featured in iDN magazine.
